LOS ANGELES, CA—The journey continues on a familiar path for the well-known and Los Angeles-based Journey tribute band, DSB. This July, DSB presents its newest incarnation—A concert dedicated to Journey’s most prolific lead singer, Steve Perry. For the Love of Steve Perry celebrates the incredible career of legendary singer-songwriter, Steve Perry. This intimate concert captures the soulful energy of Perry's powerful and unique vocal style, transporting the audience on a journey through the decades of Perry's career. From his early days with Journey to his successful solo career, the show covers Perry's extensive repertoire of hits, including “Foolish Heart'," “Strung Out," "Oh Sherrie," and many more! For the Love of Steve Perry is a must-see concert for fans of Journey and Classic Rock. In addition to the music, the show features anecdotes and insights into Perry's life and career, providing a glimpse into the man behind the music that has touched the hearts of millions, and the inspiration behind his greatest hits.

“The song ‘Oh, Sherrie’ has been part of DSB’s concert playlist for many years and its popularity has inspired a unique show that centers around Steve Perry’s very successful solo career,” explains frontman, Juan Del Castillo.
“In fact, there are just too many hits to pack into DSB’s Journey show that is was imperative we develop a one-of-a-kind concert for fans of both Steve Perry and Journey. We are proud to be able to add another family-friendly show experience,” he adds.


The first and only of its kind, For the Love of Steve Perry debuts on July 5, 2023, at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center. The new show is featured as part of the Wednesday Night Tribute Series.
